The Young Trumpet Studio is an international educational project dedicated to the artistic, technical, and human development of young trumpet players. Founded in 2015, it is based on an innovative, practice-centered methodology developed by Dr. Jordi Albert, a specialist in neuromotricity, music pedagogy, and instrumental learning processes.
The project was conceived with a clear and radical idea:
Music must always be at the center of learning.
Technique is not taught as an abstract or isolated system, but as something that emerges naturally through real musical practice. From the very first stages, students learn by making music, facing meaningful artistic challenges that shape both their technical foundation and their musical identity.

The pedagogical framework of The Young Trumpet Studio is the result of many years of research and applied practice in:
Neuromotricity and motor learning
Instrumental pedagogy
Music education at preschool, primary, and secondary levels
Drawing strong inspiration from Suzuki pedagogy, the methodology shares its emphasis on early musical immersion, listening, and learning through repertoire. At the same time, it is deeply informed by scientific research on how movement is learned, automatisms are formed, and habits are consolidated in young musicians.
This results in a methodology that is:
Entirely music-based
Focused on healthy and efficient motor development
Oriented toward long-term artistic autonomy
Adaptable to different cultural and educational contexts
Since its creation, The Young Trumpet Studio has functioned not only as a pedagogical framework but also as a living artistic project.
Between 2017 and 2019, the methodology gave rise to highly successful initiatives, including the production of professional music videos and a full album, involving young performers trained entirely within this approach.
Over the years, the project and its methodology have been taught, shared, and developed in:
Conservatories and universities across Spain, France, and Italy
Educational and artistic institutions in the United States and Canada
Numerous projects throughout Latin America
Prestigious European institutions, including visits to the Conservatoire de Paris
Today, the Young Trumpet Studio methodology is known and applied internationally, continuing to evolve through dialogue with performers, educators, and institutions worldwide.
The Young Trumpet Studio exists as a global educational network, with different studios and learning centers operating under the same pedagogical principles while adapting to their local contexts.
One of these branches is The Young Trumpet Studio Georgia, directed by Dr. Guillem TorrĂ³ Senent, who joined the project in 2017 as a core member of the teaching team.
Through deep training in the methodology and extensive international experience, Guillem TorrĂ³ has played a key role in the development of students, the expansion of the project, and its consolidation in diverse educational environments.
Each studio within the network shares the same long-term vision: artistic excellence grounded in meaningful musical practice.
At its core, The Young Trumpet Studio is not just a school or a program.
It is a long-term educational vision.
A vision where:
Technique grows from music
Learning is rooted in experience
Young musicians are supported as artists and as individuals
Scientific knowledge and artistic sensitivity work together
The goal is not short-term results, but deep, sustainable musical growth, allowing students to develop confidence, autonomy, and a lasting relationship with music.
